Frequently Asked Questions

Ainna is AI for product discovery. It helps product managers, product teams and founders decide what to build, and why, before anything is built. It is made by Innovation Mode Limited, a company registered in Ireland, and built on The Innovation Mode methodology (Springer Nature). For whole organisations there is Ainna Enterprise, a separate product with its own agreement.

• It doesn't build your product. It helps you decide what to build; the building is yours.

• It doesn't prove demand. A grade is an assessment with its reasoning shown, not a guarantee. Only real customers confirm demand.

• It doesn't decide for you. You, and the people you invite, make the call.

• It isn't made for phones or tablets. Use a desktop or laptop browser; on a phone or tablet, Ainna asks you to continue on a computer.

• It has no API on Pro or Team. API access is part of Ainna Enterprise.

• Its plans don't cover work for clients. Agencies, consultancies and freelancers need a commercial licence: write to us.

• Opportunity: one idea taken all the way through: framed, assessed and documented. It is what your plan counts. Refining or re-assessing it, and making its documents, never count again.

• Brainstorm: one round of opening up solutions to a framed problem. Plans include a separate number of them.

• The Judge: Ainna's AI evaluator. It grades each concept on ten dimensions of the problem and the solution, and shows its reasoning.

• The Circle: people you trust review your idea through a private link, with no account needed. On Pro and Team.

• The Panel: experts you choose assess an idea independently, before they see the Judge's grade. On Team.

• Pro, for one person: $99 a month, with 15 fully framed Opportunities and 10 Brainstorms a month, your branding on every document, and the Circle.

• Team, for up to 10 people in one workspace: $699 a month for everything in Pro, with 100 fully framed Opportunities and 100 Brainstorms a month shared, plus the Panel and the Market Radar. Coming soon.

• Ainna Enterprise, for whole organisations: priced by quote, under its own agreement.

Annual billing costs up to 20% less. For teaching and research, we agree terms case by case: tell us about your course or programme.

Yes: 7 days, no card, on your own problem. It includes 3 fully framed Opportunities and 3 Brainstorms, everything Pro can do except branding, and three documents: the one-pager, the pitch deck and the brainstorm deck. One trial per person; it starts when you sign up.

When it ends, your work stays and opens read-only. Nothing new can be started, but you can still download the one-pager, pitch deck or brainstorm deck you made. Choose a plan to carry on.

If someone invites you into their paid workspace, you join it on their plan instead.

Each paid plan includes a number of Opportunities and Brainstorms that resets every month, also on annual billing. An Opportunity is counted when you commit an idea to deep analysis. Refining, re-assessing or re-running it, and making or remaking its documents, don't count again. Unused ones don't carry over. On Team they are shared across the workspace.

By credit or debit card, through Stripe; we never see your card number. Every purchase comes with a VAT invoice. To pay by invoice instead, write to support@ainna.ai. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

Go to Account → Billing & purchases and choose Cancel subscription, or email support@ainna.ai. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

After that, your work stays and opens read-only, as after a trial: nothing new can be started, and the one-pager, pitch deck and brainstorm deck you made can still be downloaded. Subscribe again any time to carry on.

To delete your account and everything in it, go to Account → Profile & preferences → Your Data; deletion is permanent. Accounts without a paid plan are deleted after 12 months without a sign-in, after an email notice.

• Monthly plans: no refund for the rest of the billing period after you cancel.

• Annual plans: no pro-rata refund for unused months.

• If a failure on our side stops you using a material part of what you paid for: we make it right with a credit or a proportionate refund.

• EU and EEA consumers: you can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, by emailing support@ainna.ai.

Yes. Your ideas, and everything Ainna makes from them, are yours. Only the Innovation Mode frameworks inside them stay ours, so please don't resell those as templates. Your work is:

• never used to train AI;

• never sold;

• never shown to anyone outside your workspace unless you invite them.

It is stored in EU data centres under the GDPR. You can export or delete it at any time from Account → Profile & preferences → Your Data.
