Most people writing about AI and innovation have done neither. George Krasadakis has done both—architecting, building, and patenting pioneering AI systems since before "machine learning" was a buzzword. Four startups. 80+ delivered projects. 24+ patents. And a fundamental belief that innovation should be accessible to everyone, not just those with six-figure consulting budgets.
With 25+ years spanning startups and senior roles at Microsoft, Accenture, and GSK, George has experienced innovation from every angle—inventor, founder, corporate leader, and innovation architect. His first startup, Datamine Decision Support Systems, pioneered data-driven intelligent decision-making for 20+ multinational corporations. His patent portfolio—AI negotiation agents, voice-driven ideation systems, natural language processing architectures—reads like a 2024 AI pitch deck, except he patented these systems a decade ago. His work has been cited over 500 times by inventors and global technology giants building on his foundations.
Throughout his career, George witnessed the same patterns repeat: brilliant ideas abandoned to politics and inertia. Innovation programs that produced impressive labs and hackathons but no real outcomes. Companies focused on appearing innovative—what he calls "innovation theater"—rather than systematically creating value. He codified these observations into the Six Innovation Deficits, a framework explaining why most corporate innovation fails. The problem was never a lack of ideas. It was the absence of a system.
In 2020, George published "The Innovation Mode"—codifying the systematic framework that powers Ainna. The book has been adopted by innovation teams worldwide and praised as "a must-read for innovation managers, executives, and entrepreneurs." His follow-up, Innovation Mode 2.0: Designing Innovative Companies in the Era of Artificial Intelligence, published in January 2026.
George is also the creator of the "60 Leaders" series—collaborative books bringing together diverse perspectives from global thought leaders. 60 Leaders on Innovation and 60 Leaders on Artificial Intelligence serve as essential resources for organizations seeking practical innovation wisdom, created and distributed on principles of open collaboration and knowledge sharing.
